1884 Market House opened in January 2019 to expand resources for locals and make Waynesboro a prime destination for shoppers hunting antiques and arts.

We have over 150 shopkeeper spaces offering vintage treasures, artist creations, local meats, unique collectibles, handmade provisions, and more. 

In addition to shopping, you can experience our retro cafe with 1950s prices on coffee and snacks, an updated Nickelodeon piano that plays tunes for a quarter, and Waynesboro’s only indoor skywalk to test your fearlessness!

Both 1884 Market House and our sister store 1833 Schier’s Market are historic structures that continue to stand the test of time and have been thoughtfully and artistically converted to continue serving the community.
